How do I save art files using the Windows Picture and Fax Viewer in Windows XP?

Summary

[NOTE: This is for Windows XP users only]

Windows XP has a feature called Windows Picture and Fax Viewer. This viewer opens when you click on a file name on our Web site.

To save files using this new XP viewer follow these steps:

1. Click the file name of the art you want. The Windows Picture and Fax Viewer opens.

2. Along the bottom of the viewer screen is a row of icons. Click the one that looks like a floppy diskette (or use Ctrl+S on your keyboard).

3. A new window opens. Choose a location (folder, desktop, diskette, etc.) using the "Save in" box at the top of the window. Remember the location.

4. Click "Save."

Insert the picture file in your document as you normally would.
