Bold event titles are not appearing bold. How can I fix this?

Summary

This problem occurs because of the small font size used to display the text in the calendar grid. In some cases, the problem may be just that they don't appear to be bold because of the font color chosen. But more likely, the problem is occuring because the font you've chosen cannot be displayed in BOLD unless ClearType is turned on for your Windows operating system.

There are a couple solutions to this problem:

1) Turn on ClearType. (Only works in Windows XP. Users of other versions of Windows, please use the 2nd solution.)
To turn on ClearType, follow the following steps in Windows XP:
    - Right-click on your desktop and select "Properties"
    - Select the Appearance tab
    - Click the "Effects..." button
    - Check the box that says, "Use the following method ot smoot edges of screen fonts"
    - Make sure it says "ClearType" in the drop down box
    - Click OK, then Apply, then OK

2) Change your font to one that isn't dependent upon ClearType being turned on in order to display bold. (This is the only option that works in Windows 2000 and earlier.)
To change the font that your calendar is displaying:
    - Go to the Edit Calendar screen and select "Change Font And Background colors" at the top left corner of the screen
    - Select one of the following fonts: Georgia, Palatino Linotype, Tahoma, Times New Roman, Trebuchet MS, or Verdana (all the other fonts will NOT display bold without turning on ClearType).

3) If neither of the above 2 options work, try changing the color of the text to black and see if that solves the problem. If it doesn't, please send click the "Contact Us" link and report everything that you attempted to do to resolve this issue and what continues to occur.
