This feature is simply meant to prevent double-booking by coming up with a message for the calendar editor. It states a warning to the effect of, this room has already been booked for this time. It is simply a 'behind-the-scenes' feature for the editor to help keep resources straight.

You do not see the Resources attached to an event except in the edit event details.
